Adjuncts and their plans for the future (it will eventually arrive) To help Adjuncts understand what possibilities exist in their future including: STRS – Should we leave it there and when can you retire? Other retirement plans – do you combine them, close them or leave them? Things to take into consideration regarding eventual retirement and 2nd jobs? The heck with retiring, how about here and now? What can we do to help other Adjuncts, get a mentor or be a mentor, be more active on campus, or become known in OER?
There will be guest speakers from both CalSTRS and the San Diego County of Education to talk about the various retirement plans that Adjuncts might belong to.
Donna Carter – You are right . I just found out about that event at City College last week. BTW – we have a BT building at Mesa also.
There is also a dinner at 5pm for adjuncts on the same day. BT-301 5pm to 8pm… FREE DINNER and welcome back!
