I am the newly elected chair of SDAFA and I want to invite you to check back often for updates to this blog. In the new year, SDAFA will be focusing on educating adjuncts across San Diego County about what is being done and what can be done to improve our work lives. In particular, we will focus on gathering your suggestions for the soon to be negotiated new SDCCD CBA and RAF proposals and presenting them to our AFT Guild leadership as well as lobbying for statewide legislation that can change the California Ed Code to provide better job security, benefits, and advancement opportunities for adjuncts.
