David Milroy, ChairDavid Milroy has taught French part-time since 1988 at Mesa College, Grossmont College, Southwestern College, and MiraCosta College, as well as SDSU. He is a founding member of SDAFA.David’s union experience includes serving as an AFT Guild Part-time VP for Mesa College, Part-Time Faculty Rep. at Southwestern College, Vice-President and lead negotiator for the MiraCosta Associate Faculty Association, Secretary for the CCA state-wide union, and a short stint in the last days of the Grossmont United Faculty independent union. He served as one of the first chairs of the CFT Part-time committee in the late ’90s and founded the CTA State and the NEA National Contingent Faculty Caucuses. David has also served as Director of Administration for the California Part-time Faculty Association (CPFA) since 2000 and served as Chair for the previous 4 years.David is dedicated to SDAFA’s mission of promoting the professional treatment, economic welfare, and equitable rights of adjunct faculty and their students in all community colleges in San Diego county.Contact David Milroy |

Carol Whaley, Vice-ChairCarol Whaley has taught Drama at San Diego City College since 2000. She is a founding member of SDAFA.Carol also serves on the Executive Council of the California Part-time Faculty Association (CPFA) and the Board of Directors of the San Diego Shakespeare Society. Helen Wilson, Palomar College RepresentativeHelen Wilson Is currently an Adjunct Instructor at Palomar College. She has been with Palomar for 15 years. She has taught Design & Composition, Introduction to Art, Drawing I, II & Figure Drawing, Sculpture I & II and Foundry at Palomar College.Helen Wilson is a California based fine artist with a Masters of Fine Arts from The San Francisco Art Institute and a Bachelors in English from The United States International University, which she attended in San Diego and Bushey England. She also attended the Free Academy of the Arts in Den Haag, The Netherlands. She is the facilitator of the Artists Group Tuesday Nights. Scott Douglas, Legislative Committee Chair
Scott Douglas is a 30 year veteran of adjunct struggles in community colleges (Los Rios, Sierra, Palomar, Mira Costa, Mesa college, etc). His labor experience includes grievances, Public Employee Relations Board, negotiating teams, written contract language, union board executive member, and legislative authoring and lobbying.
